As a rule, the right of compensation is granted after two days absence providing a medical certificate is submitted. A doctor’s certificate must be received by the employer within 5 days of the first day of absence. If the certificate is not received within this time, resulting in the insurance company refusing payment, the employer is released from any obligation to pay compensation for the period the insurance company refuses to cover.
Employees are entitled to compensation for loss of

two days waiting period, there is an entitlement to 80% of the average salary
providing the employee is prevented from working at least 25%. Further
