Job description

We are looking exclusively for our client Recordati AG based in Basel for a new team member in 1st level support as


Start date: ASAP

Permanent Position

Location: 4057 Basel

Workload: 100%

Language: Fluent English and German

The selected resource will join the Recordati AG's in IT and will carry out the following activities in agreement with IT Headquarters:

  • Supporting IT projects' implementation
  • Supporting the management/evolution of Company
  • IT service desk focal point
  • Perform implementation and 1st level support of critical plant applications. This includes a functional knowledge of all plant applications used by local plants, ability to troubleshoot system issues, manage and/or configure application and application access
  • Provide daily assistance to the facility for computer hardware, system and software related issues.


  • At least 3 years of experience in IT area (preferential: Pharmaceutical company)
  • Degree in Computer Science or any other equivalent scientific degree
  • Advanced use in office's tools
  • Knowledgeof
    • SAP (of one or more of the following modules FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, PM)
    • iOS and Windows clients
    • Windows Server / Active Directory and network infrastructure (WAN, LAN and WiFi, Firewall Router, Switch)
    • DMS and QMS systems (user knowledge or greater)
  • Provide first interface with local suppliers
  • Experience with GMP and Computer System Validation
  • Excellent/good written and oral communication skills in German/English
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, curiosity, proactivity
  • Inhouse help desk support experience is an advantage
  • ITIL certificate

Willingness to travel to Switzerland/Austria or occasionally to other Recordati group sites.
