Job description

For our customer, an international pharmaceutical company based close to Bale (Basel), we are looking for a young professional who is able to support in the manufacturing projects with Windows System Administration and the infrastructure including firewall configuration.

You will work for PT Informatics, the Informatics supporting our global technical operations. The focus of the position is in Business Integration and Automation Engineering projects.

Your tasks

  • Incident, Change and Problem Management
  • Subject Matter Expert for Problem, Data, Risk and Impact analysis regarding Data Historian Events
  • Management and implementation of Interfaces to/from Data Historian and other Data Sources
  • Participation in Business Integration and Automation Engineering Projects (e. g. Reporting, Interfaces, Big Data analysis, integration of machines and production lines)
  • Windows Server administration knowledge, firewall configuration

Your profile

  • Proven experience in participation in Business Integration and Automation Engineering Projects (e. g. Reporting, Interfaces, Big Data analysis, integration of machines and production lines)
  • Technical experience as Windows System Administrator
  • Min. 2-4 years experience in CSV and GxP-compliant environment, preferred in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Understanding of business processes in pharma manufacturing environment
  • Basic Knowledge with Project and/or IT Service Management methodology (ITIL)
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)

Nice to have

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or equivalent
  • Software development and scripting skills in SQL, PowerShell, Web, .Net, Java, PI PE, PI AF, PI ACE
  • Experience with global / multi-site manufacturing projects
  • Experience in Osisoft PI administration and development in a complex integration environment
