Our client Recordati Rare Diseases is looking for a successor candidate for retirement as a

Key Account Manager Switzerland - Pharma

As KAM Orphan Drug Switzerland you increase awareness of rare diseases and RRD products among hospital practitioners and KOL's in order to increase sales and reach budget targets. You are based in the field and solely responsible for the national promotion Switzerland.

Budget responsibility: Local regional Budget

Training: Training and information of hospital practitioners

Responsibility:

Contribute to regional or national market development strategy by:

- providing market up date in monthly business meetings

- giving regular analysis of the field reality and its specific needs

REALISATION:

  1. Responsible for sales in his territory
  2. Lobby to have RRD products included in hospital formularies
  3. Provide information to doctors and pharmacists on
  • RRD as a Company
  • Scientific information on rare diseases and Orphan Drugs environment
  • Technical & Scientific information on RRD products
  1. Have regular face to face meetings with hospital practitioners and KOL's
  2. Facilitate the regional market access with local payers
  3. Organize scientific meetings with opinion leaders
  4. Attend congresses to promote RRD products
  5. Weekly reports on his/her activity

FOLLOW UP :

Insure RRD guidelines are respected

Insure patient follow-up is done

Update on patient number and dose regimen modifications

Analyze and assess his/her region market potential for Quarterly Business Reviews

Principal Contacts:

Internal: Subsidiary Staff, Subsidiary Head, International Marketing

External: Hospital Practitioners, regional stakeholders (eg. Wholesalers), Health Authorities

Education:

Scientific background education: physician or pharmacist

Some years pharmaceutical sales experience (OTC, OTX and RX)

Significant experience in hospital sales is an advantage

Knowledge in the rare disease field or in niche market product

Ideally Hospital network in niche products

Fluent in German & English, speaking Italian or French is a plus

Skills:

Excellent sales, communication, and presentation skills

Good interpersonal skills in multi-cultural congresses quick to establish contact

Self-starter personality, initiative, and self-motivation abilities

Tough time management, business awareness and high motivation for sales

Ready to spend at least 3 days a week on the road

Positive thinking and enthusiasm
