For our client, an international pharmaceutical company specialized in rare diseases, we are looking for a motivated team member who likes to start the career as

Logistic and Material Specialist

Baar, Zug

Permanent assignment

Start: ASAP

Workload: 100%

Main tasks:

  • Strategically plans and manages logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services

(distribution partners)

  • Directs, optimizes and coordinates full order cycle (inbound, warehouse, outbound)
  • Liaises and negotiates with suppliers, manufacturers, (retailers and customers) → latter in

coordination with Sales &Marketing and Regulatory Affairs

  • Keeps track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
  • Arranges warehouse, catalogue goods, plan routes and process shipments
  • Resolves any arising problems or complaints of the supply chain
  • Supervises, coaches and trains logistic assistant
  • Meets costs, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
  • Maintains metrics and analyses data to assess performance and implement improvements

Professional Competencies Required

  • A bachelor or master degree in logistics (minimum: certificate logistic expert)
  • Aminimumof4yearsoflogisticexperienceinthepharmaceuticalsector
    • Demonstrates expertise and understanding in GxP field, especially GDP
  • Contract management (Distribution Agreement/ COGs etc.)
  • Businessplanning
    • Demonstrates ability to create financial and operational objectives
  • Supply chain management
  • Process improvement
  • Procurement
  • Enterprise Resource Planning
  • Accounting
  • Scheduling
  • Project Management
  • Proven ability to proactively working in a cross functional team setting
  • German, business fluent in English, French is an Asset
